Scuola Superiore di Catania (SSC) is a learning institute in Italy. It was founded in 1998 following the model of the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. ==Scuola Superiore di Catania== The aims of Scuola Superiore di Catania are: * to develop the skills of its students through additional courses and seminars and the precocious start of research activity. * to offer postgraduate formative paths through PhD Courses, Advanced Formation Courses, and 2nd level Masters. * to provide a synthesis of teaching, research and employment. Students, admitted after passing an public selection process, live for free upon the school structures. In 2004, after a positive evaluation of the Ministry of Education, University, and Research, Scuola Superiore was institutionalized within University of Catania.
